Online coin flip for heads or tails

About the tool

TossingCoin.com is an online coin flip tool for a quick heads-or-tails answer. Press “Flip the coin” to watch the animated toss and read the result. You can also use Space or Enter to flip when keyboard focus is outside an interactive control. Think of two options, decide which one is heads and which is tails, then let the toss give you an outcome.

People use a coin toss to break a tie, choose who goes first, or make a small either-or decision. Before flipping, choose the gold, silver, or retro coin skin. A skin changes the coin’s appearance, not how the result is selected. The sound toggle is optional; when it is on, a short tone plays as a flip starts.

How it works

Each flip randomly selects heads or tails, animates the coin, and then shows the matching result. The session panel counts total flips and how many landed on each side. It also shows your current streak—the number of consecutive matching results—and your best streak for the current page session. If a flip changes sides, the current streak starts at one for the new side. Choose a goal of 10, 25, or 50 flips to see progress; changing the goal does not affect the toss. Counts and streaks are kept in the open page and start over when you reload.

FAQ

Does the tool choose between my options?

No. It returns heads or tails at random; you decide which option each side represents.

Do coin skins affect the result?

No. Gold, silver, and retro change only the coin’s appearance.

Are my flip counts saved?

No. Counts and streaks are session-only and reset when the page reloads.
